Simple Plant-Based Nutella

Who doesn’t love Nutella? Or at least has. Regular cow breast milk infused Nutella was something I ate as a kid and loved it. Unfortunately, I was not aware about the bad things about it. I now know that Nutella doesn’t even contain that much hazelnuts, It’s in this order: white sugar, palm oil, milk powder, hazelnuts and cacao. Ew.

So, I tested some healthy plant based versions of “Nutella” and finally came up with the perfect mix (in my opinion). This one is creamy, smooth and ridiculously delicious even though it’s white sugar and oil-free.

Simple Plant-Based Nutella

Ingredients

-       1cup roasted and peeled hezelnuts (I bought these ready)
-       7 soft pitted dates
-       6tbsp cacao
-       ¼ cup agave syrup
-       ¼ cup oat milk (or other plant milk)

Instructions

-       Put the roasted nuts in a food processor and blend until it forms a butter
-       Now add rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth
-       Put it in a jar and put in the fridge until you need it.
