How to start a plant-based lifestyle

 

So I heard you want to start a plant-based lifestyle. Awesome! I love people that are open to new perspectives and willing to try things to improve their health. When you are doing something for the first time it is always hard in the beginning. That is why I am here to help you make your transition as smooth and joyful as possible. Follow these steps and you will have a great start on your journey.

1. Follow @fivesechealth on Instagram

On my Instagram I share food inspiration trough mostly videos. I educate my community so that you can feel more comfortable and educated about all the benefits of this lifestyle. If you have any questions regarding health, feel free to DM me on Instagram.

2. Educate yourself

Since this lifestyle is not the “standard“ in our society (yet) you will get questioned. I think it is important for you to know why you do it and have a brief understanding of how your diet affects your body, environment and the animals. My recommendation is to start watching some documentaries. My favorites are "Food Choices", "Cowspiracy" and "What the Health". They can be found on Netflix. If you want to dig deep in nutrition facts, my favourite source is NutritionFacts.org led by Dr. Michael Greger.

3. Services that make it easier

In the beginning you can feel a bit lost and that is OK. To make it easier for you to succeed with the lifestyle transition I recommend you to follow meal plans, recipes and maybe take a coaching session if you are really serious.
